Curriculum

Your instructor, Emerald Forcier
Emerald is the Owner & CEO of Penobscot Bay Estate, a waterfront wedding venue in Coastal Maine. She has worked with countless couples to help them navigate the inevitable stressors that accompany wedding planning.
Emerald's passion is helping couples to understand what an "Intentional Wedding" means to them, and how to define and create that vision.
This passion stems from planning her own wedding in just three months to ensure that her mother, who had Early Onset Alzheimer's, could be as present as possible on the day. With that as a central purpose for the celebration, as well as other understood values (her husband's big family, their love of Maine food & craft beer), they were able to prioritize the things that mattered, and let go of the rest! Seven years later, they don't remember the small details, but they DO remember how they felt, and they wouldn't change it for the world.
